Hina's Journey

This is a game design that I had for an assignment. This is a RPG game based off the Ukiyo-e art style as well as elements from the Edo Period.

In where you play as a young shrine maiden named Hina, who needs to travel outside from her home in hopes to save her village.

1. Character Design

So here is our main character, Hina. 陽 (hi) means "light, sun, day" combined with 菜 (na) meaning "vegetables, greens".

2. Enemy Design

I thought of having the enemies as oni. There are two types of enemies, the low level ones and the bosses.

3. UI

These are designs of the menus (title, pause, skill tree and settings), HUD (attack, text box) and buttons
